Last Updated: 24th May 2020

This privacy policy (“Policy”) describes how 20 Minute Teeth Whitening whose registered office is situated at: Claremont Road, Newcastle upon Tyne, NER2 4AN (“Company,” “we,” and “our”) processes, collects, uses and shares personal data when using this website (the “Site”). Please read the following information carefully to understand our practices regarding your personal data and how we will process data.

Purposes of Processing
What is personal data?

We collect information about you in a range of forms, including personal data. As used in this Policy, “personal data” is as defined in the General Data Protection Regulation, this includes any information which, either alone or in combination with other information we process about you, identifies you as an individual, including, for example, your name, postal address, email address and telephone number.

Why do we need your personal data?

The only reason we require personal data, e.g., name, address, telephone number etc., is because we offer an online booking facility to allow you to book your teeth whitening appointment online; because we are a home visit service, we need your address etc so we know where to call as well as your telephone number in case we have difficulty in finding your property, to update you if we were ever delayed because of heavy traffic or an accident, as well as sending you an appointment reminder that we are calling on a particular day and time to avoid us having a potentially wasted journey because you had forgotten we were calling.

We will only process your personal data in accordance with applicable data protection and privacy laws. We also need certain personal data in order to provide you with access to the Site.  This consent provides us with the legal basis we require under applicable law to process your data. You maintain the right to withdraw such consent at any time. If you do not agree to our use of your personal data in line with this Policy, please do not use our Site.

Collecting Your Personal Data
We collect information about you in the following ways:

Information You Give Us. This includes:

the personal data you provide when you place an order for service thorough our Site;
the personal data you provide when you correspond with us by phone or otherwise.
the personal data you provide when you report a problem with our Site or when we provide you with customer support
Information from Social Networking Sites. Our Site include interfaces that allow you to connect with social networking sites such as Facebook (each a “SNS”). If you connect to a SNS through our Site, you authorise us to access, use and store the information that you agreed the SNS could provide to us based on your settings on that SNS. We will access, use and store that information in accordance with this Policy. Automated Decision Making and Profiling.

We do not use your personal data for the purposes of automated decision-making. However, we may do so in order to fulfil obligations imposed by law, in which case we will inform you of any such processing and provide you with an opportunity to object.

We ONLY hold onto data collected for existing customers who have used our service in the past in order for us to identify you to apply discounts etc., as and when you use us again, all other data, including that obtained from potential customers who do not use our service, for whatever reason, is automatically deleted for privacy reasons.

Where there has been abuse of the booking system, e.g., booking without supplying a full address to call to and then ignoring our request to supply the missing information, or simply a customer who fails to send us a confirmation message which results in a cancellation taking place, we then proceed to delete all inputted information from our records, including telephone numbers in order to keep our customer list current and leave only those who actually have used our service.

This is also done to ensure good housekeeping, but equally importantly it makes certain that we stick to our policy of protecting an individual’s right to privacy under the GDPR law by removing all of their personal details from our computer records, including their telephone number and address etc., if they have ended up never using our service for whatever reason.

To verify we take everyone’s right to privacy very seriously and honour our obligation to protect our customer’s, even those who don’t end up by using our service, our site prints the logo below on our Home Page
